This reminds me of the two greatest successes of Austria.
1st: Make the world believe Beethoven was austrian. (He was german).
2nd: Make the world believe Hitler was german. (He was austrian).

Can we all take a moment to appreciate Karolina's acting which is actually subtle and not over the top at all? This is what makes the whole video <3

I didn’t know she was Polish before this. The fact that her full name is never mentioned definitely contributed to that

This broke my heart. I didn't learn about Marie anywhere exept in a small-ass town in Argentina were poles and ukranian migrated in the early 1900, and there you have this small square in her name. We owe her so much. Really, so so much. Every spine surgery being perform out there is because of her. Karolina, did you ever read abou how she became mad when her husband died in a car crash? It's oddly enchanting. She kept a handfull of brains she collected from the dead body for a while. I don't know if you have time or even if the book is available in english or polish, but I totally recomend it to you. It's called "La ridícula idea de no volver a verte", by Rosa Montero.

I have expected but still disappointed at the fact that not a lot of people remember that she won a two freaking Nobels. T W O . Nevertheless, this is still such a brilliant idea and video. Hats off to you as per usual, Ms Żebrowska!

Poor Marie 🙁 I feel sad for her. But I did know about the Polonium 😄 She was a hard working woman. And yes they need to do a good movie about her.
