So Captain Marvel was doing so well, had a nice little slot before Avengers Endgame, had interesting story elements in the Krull/Skree dynamic that could have a big impact on the universe. And everything seemed to be going well for Marvel and Brie Larson, with a 96% 'want to see' rating on rotten tomatoes. When seemingly overnight it plummeted SO LOW that rotten tomatoes decided to remove the rating all together to save the film further embarrassment. And now a noticeable chunk of Marvel fans are expressing a desire to NOT see the film. What happened? How did things change to drastically and so fast? Lets find out.
