What annoys me about this technique is how much the snare starts to wiggle. You need a solid snare stand to pull this off because otherwise it'll sound inconsistent no matter what you do.

Dude, I've watched a lot of drum technique videos and not many of them really taught me anything. Maybe they weren't good teachers for me.. I don't know, but I just subscribed to you. This video was so perfect in teaching because I was like "Aw, I don't play metal but it could be useful.." then you immediately were like "And this isn't just for metal.." lol.
