Your resume is a marketing tool that is designed to get employers interested in what you have to offer and to give you a phone call. Your resume needs to relate to an employers needs otherwise they will never call you.
A perfect resume will generate an employer response at least 40% of the time. Don't wast your time by sending out hundreds of resumes and instead focus on 1 or two.
